🎓 Welcome Speech
Year 6 — 3 Kids
(Medhalaxshna, Chen Kai, Cyril Chong)
Graduates' Opening Speech
👩‍🏫 Teacher Ari
📝 Full Script (~5–6 min)
👦 CHEN KAI:Good afternoon, everyone! My name is Chen Kai. 🎓
👦 CYRIL CHONG:And my name is Cyril Chong.
👧 MEDHALAXSHNA:My name is Medhalaxshna. This afternoon, we are not just here to dance and sing — we are here to say goodbye to our kindergarten. 😢
👦 CHEN KAI:Welcome to our graduation concert — "Malaysia in Our Hearts"! 🇲🇾
👧 MEDHALAXSHNA:We are so happy to see all of you here — our mummies, daddies, grandpas, grandmas, teachers, and friends. Thank you for coming this afternoon!
👦 CYRIL CHONG:Malaysia is a very special country. It has 13 states and 3 federal territories.
👦 CHEN KAI:That's a lot! But don't worry — this afternoon, all the children in our school will show you every single one! From the beaches to the mountains, from the farms to the cities.
👧 MEDHALAXSHNA:From the sweet mangoes of Perlis 🥭 to the little islands of Labuan 🌊 —
👦 CYRIL CHONG:— from the green paddy fields of Kedah 🌾 to the shining Twin Towers of KL 🏙️ —
👦 CHEN KAI:Malaysia is beautiful not just because of the places — but because of the people.
👧 MEDHALAXSHNA:We are Malay, Chinese, Indian, and so many more. We speak different languages, we eat different foods, we celebrate different festivals —
👦 CYRIL CHONG:— but we are all one big Malaysian family! ❤️
👧👦 ALL TOGETHER:We are Malaysia! 🇲🇾
👦 CYRIL CHONG:But before we start the show, we want to say something from our hearts.
👧 MEDHALAXSHNA:Thank you, Mummy and Daddy. 💕 Thank you for waking up early every morning to send us to school, even when it is raining. Thank you for packing our little bags, for tying our shoelaces, and for giving us the biggest hug when we are sad. Thank you for listening to our silly stories and for telling us, "You can do it!"
👦 CHEN KAI:Thank you to our families! ❤️ Thank you, Grandpa and Grandma, for the treats and the bedtime stories. Thank you, Koko and Jiejie, for playing with us and cheering us on.
👦 CYRIL CHONG:And thank you, our dear teachers. 🌸 Thank you for teaching us our ABCs and 123s. Thank you for holding our hands on the first day of school, when we were crying and scared. Thank you for helping us learn to share, to be kind, and to be brave. Thank you for believing in us, even when we did not believe in ourselves.
👧 MEDHALAXSHNA:You know, when we first came to kindergarten, many of us could not even hold a pencil properly. 🖍️
👦 CHEN KAI:Now we can write our names, read little books, sing songs, and even dance on a big stage!
👦 CYRIL CHONG:We learned that falling down is okay, as long as we stand up again.
👧 MEDHALAXSHNA:We learned that friends are treasures — and we will never forget the friends we made here.
👦 CHEN KAI:We learned that home is not just a house — it is the people who love us.
👧👦 ALL TOGETHER:And we learned that Malaysia is our home. 🇲🇾
👧 MEDHALAXSHNA:So this afternoon, we want to invite all of you to come with us on a special journey — through every state of Malaysia — through music, dance, stories, and a lot of love!
👦 CYRIL CHONG:We hope you will laugh with us, clap for us, and maybe even cry a little — because this night is very special.
👦 CHEN KAI:Now — sit back, get comfortable, and open your hearts.
👦 CYRIL CHONG:Are you ready to travel across Malaysia with us?
👧👦 ALL TOGETHER:Let's begin our journey!!! 🎉🇲🇾🎉

Entrance (30s intro): hands together in Namaste, walking out in "half-squat small steps", forming two lines. Upbeat festive rhythm like an Indian temple fair
Hand Mudras (1 min): to the "Bum Bum Bole" beat, three basic gestures — peacock hand (thumb-index pinch), lotus hand (fingers spread, twist wrists), butterfly hand (cross hands then open)
Footwork Tatkar (1 min): stamp in place to the beat — right-right-left, left-left-right, anklets jingling! With gentle hip sways
Spins Chakkars (1 min): one arm raised, slowly turn one full circle (5yo version: just one turn). Two lines cross over and swap places
Interaction (1.5 min): pairs face each other — one makes a gesture, the other copies, then swap roles. Like a "follow me" game
Climax & ending (1 min): back to two lines, Namaste bow together. "Bum Bum Bole~ Masti mein dole~" finally squat down with a petal-scattering gesture toward the sky
🧑‍🏫 Teacher's note: this is a simplified 5yo Indian dance — the point is joy, not technique! Hand moves + anklets + one spin is all it takes. No need to be perfectly in sync — the beauty of Indian dance is its freedom and colour!

Year 6 — 3 Students
(Yee Kai, Hillary, Chelsea)
Graduates' Speech (Mandarin)
Teacher: Teacher Lee
📝 Full Script (Extended Touching Edition · English translation)
👧 HILLARY (gentle opening):Distinguished guests, dear Mummies and Daddies, Grandpas and Grandmas, teachers, and our most adorable little friends — good afternoon, everyone! 🌸 Today, we stand here with so many things we want to say. Because today is the last day of our kindergarten life; today, we say goodbye to the school that watched us grow up. 😢
I still remember my very first day of kindergarten, three years ago — I held tightly onto Mummy's hand, tears streaming down my face. It was my teacher who knelt down, gently hugged me and said: "Don't be afraid — this is your second home." From that day on, every morning I looked forward to coming to school. Because I knew that here, there were teachers who smiled at me, friends who played with me, and so many warm stories waiting for me.
👦 YEE KAI (memories of growing up):Hello everyone! 🤗 I want to ask the parents here: do you remember how tiny we were when we first arrived? Back then, we couldn't feed ourselves, couldn't put on our own shoes, couldn't write our own names — sometimes we even cried and wanted to go home. 😅 But our teachers never lost patience. Day after day they taught us, encouraging us again and again.
They taught us to hold a pencil, to recognise words, to sing, to line up, to share — and how to be polite, kind-hearted children. I still remember the first time I tied my own shoelaces — my teacher was even happier than I was. She knelt down, hugged me and said: "See — you did it!" In that moment, I felt amazing! 💪 Teacher, thank you. Thank you for never giving up on us; thank you for using patience and love to help us grow, little by little. 🌱
👧 CHELSEA (thanking friends):And I want to thank my friends. 🌸 Thank you for handing me a tissue when I cried; thank you for teaching me when I didn't know how; thank you for playing with me every day, eating with me, drawing with me, running with me. We built blocks together, acted out stories together, drew family portraits together, chased each other around the playground together.
These little memories are like bright, shining stars tucked away in my heart. ✨ Even though we may go to different primary schools and make new friends, I will never forget you — never forget the sound of our laughter, the playground we ran across, and our pinky promise: "We will be best friends forever!"
👧 HILLARY:And of course, we must thank our dearest Mummy and Daddy. ❤️ Thank you for waking up early every day to bring us to school; thank you for listening to our school stories no matter how tired you are; thank you for writing our wobbly little names on our artwork; thank you for staying up all night caring for us when we were sick. Maybe we are still too small to fully understand how hard you work — but we know that every hug, every word of encouragement, every goodnight kiss, is proof of how much you love us. 🌙
👦 YEE KAI:Our teachers always tell us: "Every one of you is a unique star." Today, we graduate and head to primary school, towards a bigger world. We may feel scared, we may feel nervous — but we are not afraid. Because kindergarten taught us courage, our teachers gave us confidence, and our parents gave us love. We will remember — to be kind, to be willing to help others, and to never give up when things get difficult. 💪
👧 CHELSEA:Finally, I want to say to everyone who loves us: thank you for giving us such a happy, such a warm childhood. 🌈
👧👦 ALL THREE together:Goodbye, our kindergarten. 🏫 Goodbye, our dearest teachers. Carrying your blessings, we are ready to fly further away. 🕊️ We will grow up well and work hard to make you proud! We have graduated! Primary school, here we come! 🎓✨ Thank you, everyone! 🙏
🎛️ Cue:The three children walk on stage hand in hand from stage left → stand in a row and bow → recite in order Hillary → Yee Kai → Chelsea (a teacher whispers prompts from the side of the stage) → all three say the ending together → bow → exit hand in hand. Suggested background music: "You Raise Me Up" or "A Thousand Years" (instrumental). Original Mandarin script available on the Chinese page (🇨🇳 中文).

🏔️ Sabah — Little Stories from the Children of Mount Kinabalu
Teacher: Teacher Aina
💃 Performance Flow & Positions
Act 1 (~1 min): dim blue light, wind sounds + bamboo flute. Alia walks from the side to the Mount Kinabalu backdrop. Narrator 1 stands front-right of stage. Alia's three monologues — the highlight of the show; choose a child with clear speech and real feeling
Act 2 (~1.5 min): Grandma walks in from stage left with a cane. The Alia–Grandma interaction should feel natural — like a real grandmother and granddaughter chatting. Group recital voices must be unified
Act 3 (~1.5 min): Narrator 2 stands stage right. Girls / boys respond in groups. Everyone does the wave motions together
Act 4 (~1 min): lights turn warm — the most crucial moment of the show. Alia pauses 2 seconds before "the mountain is in my heart", then continues. The final group recital grows from soft to strong, like waves pushing higher and higher
Ending (~30s): the Malay pantun (four-line poem) — slow! Every word must be heard clearly. Grandma's final Malay line is the emotional footnote to the whole story. As they bow, the Sompoton bamboo flute returns and the lights slowly fade
